After the gallery closed on the last day of the exhibiton, the next stage started. Some of the Red House workers, including the ones who run the hostel upstairs, selected and cut parts of the scroll for themselves. (Others laughed at or rejected my offer to take a piece.) My contract with them - written directly on the pieces - stipulates that they are allowed to share the pieces in the same spirit with others, but they could not sell or make profit from them. The largest portion went to the hostel, to be installed in the communal hall.
